That's the point, and one reason for the appalling rate of
divorce - a lot of people get married for the wrong reasons
and/or before they really know what they want or who they are.

I wonder if one could have adapted the bigger cookies to

I don't know completely what happens if the PreCheck system kicks
you out, but in no case would it be worse than what you would get
from being in the normal queue. If the Global Entry system kicks
you out, you get to cut the line, so the outcome is always better,
or at least arrived at quicker, than if you don't use it.

Carrot Barfi
categories: Nepal, fudge, sweet
Yield: 1 batch

2 c carrots, finely grated
2 c khuwa (milk solids)
2 c half-and-half milk
1/2 c butter
1 c sugar
1 ts ground cardamom
1/2 c almonds, thinly slivered
1/2 c golden raisins
1 ds red coloring

In a cooking pan, combine grated carrots and milk. Bring to a
boil and simmer over low heat for 1 hr, until the carrot has
softened. Add khuwa, butter, sugar, cardamom, almonds, and
raisins; mix thoroughly. Sprinkle a dash of red coloring and
simmer the mixture, stirring continuously, for another 15-20
min until the carrot mixture has thickened. Remove from heat
and transfer to a well-butter container; spread into a
2" thick layer. Chill overnight in refrigerator. Cut into
2" cubes. Serve chilled, topped with sliced almonds.
