These worked OK, AFAIK. Nice, easily tarnished brass face-plates. Brass bodies
on the switches. And what wasn't brass was Bakelite. But, it was easier and
quicker for some (parental units) to flip a switch than to find a push button
and do the obvious. The flip switches were easier without removing gloves, or
whilst balancing packages, etc. You could actually flip a switch to on with an
elbone or upper arm.

I am forever and totally amazed that some of the stunts I got up to didn't end
me. But, like I said, young and invincible. And un-convincable.

NB> Hello-o.. ;) You must have one of those ceiling fan/light fixture
 NB> combos, then...? :)

Both in the kitchen and in my bedroom. The fans help quite a bit with both
heating and cooling.

I'm in about the same situation. I am torn currently between leaving tin-can
living for stick-built housing. I looked at a place the other day that I can
afford, is nicely laid out and is all the house I will ever need. But, it has
this huge yard and parking for only one car. I'd have to park either the Ranger
or the Benz on the street. And go buy a riding mower. Not to mention I can buy
a brand-new mobile home and put it right next to this one -- for under $15K.
And the yard remains tiny with places for both rides. The trade off is the lot
rent comes due every month. But, then one should escrow 1/12th of the tax bill
every month -- just like rent. Even so, taxes would be less than 1/3 of the lot
rent. I dunno. Lots of inertia here. Bv)=

DD> The residual heat from making the Meatball Pot Pie would warm your

 NB> I can imagine. :) Looks tasty, too... :)

I haven't made the first recipe - YET. And just as a note -- I sometimes use
50% hamburger in the meatballs, along with the Italian sausage. But, those are
really quite tasty .... damn, now I have to make up a pot of pasta for supper
and an order or two of meatballs. I know how I'll be spending my afternoon.

I make this without the pork chops, usually.

Brown the sausage and set aside. Saute onions, pork chops
