As children, the administration being the parental unit, we could do
some minor trading, as long as it was approved and the work got done...
that way I mostly ended up with straightening piles instead of the deep
cleaning jobs... that way both jobs were better executed... ;)  I think
that kitchen chores may have been less traded, as I remember doing all
three pretty regularly... when I was younger, fewer of my siblings could
cook, so I got that more then than later when others wanted their chance
at it...  :)

Yeah..  well, let's restate that to be only some of the knowledge,
hopefully the useful parts...  ;)
