Having the sale coincide with having the money to take advantage of it
is nice. Lowe's had their fresh turkeys on sale today; Steve got paid
before the end of the month so got one in the 15 pound range. It'll get
cooked up tomorrow and portioned out for the freezer. May have to pull
the ham out to make room but then we can do the same thing as for the
turkey.

We'll do the rotisserie chicken quite often too--one will provide
several meals for us, including stock from the skin & bones. I'll buy
whole chickens from time to time too, especially if I'm making
something, for example, Life Group, that I need a lot of chicken for. We
happened to be in Whole Foods when they announced the sale so figured
we'd take advantage of it.
