Yes, but not untypical for me.

I try to as much as possible but can't help it if I'm in an area when
something happens. We were in Berlin when the wall came down, then a
year later when the Germanys reunited. Went down to the Brandenburg Gate
area for a bit during the first event but stayed clear of it for the
second.

OK, I've never had an foie gras, just ordinary chicken, duck, beef
liver. I think we tried pig liver once but decided it wasn't worth
repeating.

I'm not that overly fond of liver to begin with. When I was expecting
our first baby, I was told to eat liver once a week in addition to the
iron pills because I was anemic. We didn't know too many ways to cook it
then (do so now) so both of us bummed out on it for a while.
