Guilty as charged! Comes from my parents saving just about every last
little bit. Dog(s) got some left overs but not all. I think my mom got
worse about hanging on to left overs as she got older; her cleaning lady
had to toss them out when Mom wasn't looking. Trouble is, Mom usually
hovered over her shoulder when she worked in the kitchen. We don't do
left overs tho, we do recycles. (G)

Your life, your choice and same for me. I'm taking a few short cuts now
and again but do the lion's share from scratch. Bread baking used to be
all the time but is on a hit/miss basis now. I'll have to do some early
part of next week probably.

And since I keep onions on hand for use in a lot of stuff, it's less
practical for me to buy the pre diced. Celery is not as common in the
fridge as it was at one time; other veggies rotate in and out of the
drawer.

I'd made most of the meal & realised I needed some more carbs than the
few that were in the veggie of the night so did the dressing as a last
minute add on. Should have checked better for what was available to make
it taste better.

Got this huge bag of dried cranberries at BJs a while ago... stuffings
often get a large handful or two of them, just on general principles...
;)

I like cranberries in that form but not as cranberry sauce or cranberry
juice. Dried, I can munch on (in limited quantity) like raisins.
