Depending on the place, I may go for water. We went to one of the local
Mexican places for supper last week and both of us just got water. Not
the greatest tasting but saved a few pennies.

I found the fruit flavors to be too sweet, overall.

I have to watch the sugar now but have been buying the diet Coke for 20+
years. We also started buying the Zevia ones from time to time once we
became aware of them.

After all, you don't want the ire of a line of thirsty folks to fall on
you while you're checking out the various flavors in the machine. Times
like that you need to know pretty much what to go for and get it fast.
