I can still wear heel but have stuck to the ones on my boots the last
few months. Other than those, the main foot wear has been walking shoes.

More like a river than mud. I don't recall what Mom fixed for supper
that night but I do remember the tarp coming down in one corner (as we
were eating) and soaking my brothers in their backs.

-> Not gourmet by any means. Lunches were usually sandwiches, with the

The corn flakes and things like that--ones my parents ate because us
kids went for the good ones. (G)  Mom & dad didn't pack sugar for cereal
so we went for cereals that had some natural sweetening.
