I seem to remember that he talks about putting beans in chilli... but
just at the end.

Quite.  Many people think that chili is the beans.... ;)  Maybe with a
bit of meat added, heat optional... ;)   Not at all what a real chili
would be...

I think I vaguely remember you mentioning it before... but I've
certainly forgotten the details...  :)  If you weren't into much heat at
the time, you wouldn't have had the hotter chili around anyway, though,
I'd guess...  :)

Y'all are getting much worse weather than we are, for sure...  how are
you weathering it...?  I saw where Steve rescheduled the doctor visit
from today... wise thinking...  :)   The pea soup and the odds and ends
stew both sound like tasty meals for the season...  :)
