I'm taking all of those. The D3 comes in a little capsule. I've been
taking what should be more than sufficient. The B vitamins are in a high
potency multivitamin. Unfortunately, they did not help prevent this from
happening.

My suspicion is that our long drive to Florida and the two shorter
driving days back generated a clot in my legs which then broke loose.
Usually, these things get routed to the lungs and get stuck there. With
an open hole in my heart (patent foramen ovale or atrial septal defect,
according to the doctor), the clot likely went through the hole and up
to the brain, causing the stroke when it lodged there. This seems to be
a likely scenario since both the CT and MRI scans showed evidence of at
least one prior stroke. There was another questionable area that was
very small that could indicate yet another event, but I do not recall
having any symptoms which would indicate a problem. I do recall an event
in 2004 that the prior stroke area (cerebellum) would have had symptoms
like what I experienced and what the doctor at the time diagnosed as
dehydration and an inner-ear infection. No CT or MRI scans were done at
that time, so I had no knowledge of the prior stroke except the feeling
that the diagnosis was not right.

Yes. The little honey bear had a light-colored honey. That was Sourwood
honey.
