JE:-
A few years ago I suggested that sbe should start to
electronically publish sbe peer reviewed papers.
This could include a paper by somebody on a
registry of evolutionary theories.

My suggestion was that people outside of mainstream
science should have the opportunity to mix with those
within it to produce papers that were reviewed by
both that subsequently became available online perhaps
in PDF format. An elected panel from within sbe could
be set up to review the papers where this review process
could appear within sbe discussion allowing anybody to
comment on it. The review panels decision should remain
final but if a paper was rejected then the panel must
list all points of rejection. The paper could subsequently
be resubmitted. I strongly suggest that such a democratic
system of paper review would be of real value to the
scientific community. A list of available papers
that could be downloaded including papers under review
could appear as an sbe post every week or so.

Of course this means more work for Josh!

Then again Josh could delegate sbe paper handling to somebody 
else. The election of a review panel could require nominations
that were seconded. Posts about each nominee could then
be submitted and a date set for a panel election. Any
poster to sbe should be eligible. A certain number of
panel positions could be set aside for sbe posters with
formal academic qualifications in the evolutionary
theory and/or related fields.
