I impose nothing on others... I state my moral view of the man, which is my
oppinion, to which I'm entitled, and free to express.  I impose no
laws on anyone, anywhere, as I do not have the authority to do so.

I am not aware of any public releases of the transcripts of interaction between
the cop and blom.  If the cop was sitting back pretending to be a 14 year old
girl I think it is more likely that blom contacted what he thought was a 14
year old girl.  There are proceedures to the way police operate to catch
internet predators and the initiating the contact is not part of that.

I could have done nothing... wasn't involved... however all he had to do was
not take up the offer to prevent commiting a crime.

Somebody offers you merchandise that was stolen at a bargain price, you pay for
it... bought and paid for in your eye, and you never asked if it was stolen and
claim ignorance because you "didn't know"... get
found out, off to jail you go for recieving stolen merchandise.  All you would
have to have done to prevent jail in that instance is be wary of an offer that
seemed to great to be true... same, same.

I believe Blom was the solicitor... but anyway, might be illegal for a cop to
pose there... he was conversing with somebody in the US... same as when
somebody logs into your BBS they are in "your living room" converse with a
person in another country and it is as if you are in that country.

He didn;t impose his morals... he pretended to be a 14 year old girl and let
the predator do what the predator likes to do.

By pretending to be a 14 year old girl who says "I won't tell"... even if it
were a real 14 year old girl who said "it's alright", the law says otherwise...
be well aware of to where you travel before you believe a CHILD.

It wouldn't happen if the internet were not a favorite venue of perverts, child
molestors, and predators who are willing to travel internationaly for their
jollies.
