It was 'done' and then failed...get over it.

Souvestre and Walker were buddies in the same organization. Whatever
Souvestre wanted, Walker gave to him on a silver platter. As did many
others who represented their distribution system.

If it were to be housed in Z2, it came under Dossche's parview...just like

It wasn't up to LaCosta, it was up to the moderators who used his list and
rejected the others who were all vying for the moderators support. The
most honest of them was chosen by the moderators.

The moderators, of course.

Wrong. The recogniztion by the moderators gave it enough attention that
it was recognized by the RCC of Z1 as a legitimate list, who requested
that the then Z1C give it a node number just like any other of the nodes
who were given specific status as support nodes for various software.
