I think that was in the context of our modern "war" in 
Afghanistan/Iraq to save the world from the terrorists, though, 
the thread seems to have become lost here ... [sigh] ... 
obviously there are individual Europeans -- those who, for some 
reason, haven't emigrated to America -- who are not cowards.  
It's the nations as a whole who refuse to carry their fair burden 
in the modern "war" who demonstrate cowardice ...
