Don't kid yourself. Games can be played in many ways... even with steadfast
rules.  "SET" games end up like tic-tac-toe... no fun... and poker is not for
the "short term" players, but for those who can stay it out.  No good game is
decided by a single hand, but by who has the chips after the 26 hours of steady
play, long after wooshie-wooses have cashed in. Still got LOTS of chips in
front of me, and my cards have not yet been layed out.  Hmmmmmm... yet I have
been playing a hand that tells me ALOT about the other players.

Ever play TradeWars?  Not that it is entirely related, but that is another non
"short-term" game decided on a single confrontation.
Patience is a must, and deception is manditory. Your ship gets blown up,
and you come back... part of the game.

It's also tedious and time consuming for the most part on building tasks, and
in all the encounters you MUST keep track of everything, so while exacting your
final blow against the one(s) who blew your ship up, you will drive them out of
the game by pure embarrasment of thinking things were one way, only for them to
learn that it was -they- who had been set up.

Hmmmmmm... maybe it is related afterall.

Well anyway, the game is afoot.  I'm so sorry you chose to get involved.  At
least you will not start a new game under a different name, as I know you
better than that.  All the same though... this one is lost, and not by me. 
Where you choose to be in that mix is entirely up to you.
