     Take a look at this echo. This echo is considered a discrace by
people across the zones. It is looked at as a reason NOT to want to
join Fidonet. Count the people allowed to post profanity, insults,
personal attacks, Etc. People act and say anything that they choose.
With no interventon or concern expressed by the current moderator. If
THAT isn't in your interpretation of a broken echo. I will not even
bother to ask what is.

     The posters are the cause of the problem. The moderator is responsible
for the condition of the echo. He or she is responsible for maintaining
control and taking the actions nessesary to aquire and maintain control. The
current moderator has done niether. The truth of the matter is that you don't
want a change even knowing that what we currently have isn't working. You say
that if the echo is broken the moderator can't do anything about that? Then
why is he even the moderator at all? Why are we even discussing this? Why are
you arguing to keep him as moderator? Is it all just to keep a zonal way of
doing things that everyone sees and knows doesn't work? Why not raise yourself
above the zonal concept? Maybe then you will see options that had never occured
to you before.
