Here, perhaps.. I'm not an expert at Copyright law, and even though it's been
pointed out to me that what you say is true, it still goes against what we
normally do on the FileGate, and that is to honor author's requests regarding
distribution at all times.  Additionally, the FileGate maintains a HUB
(SuperSite) in the Netherlands where Michiel lives (in his net as a matter of
fact).

I was not around then either, this was long ago, but I know it happened.  I can
try to find out more details for you.

Yes, that's what was done.  The file was removed and replaced with a file that
only stated, This file has been removed from Distribution.  This is how all of
the files that were illegal were removed from Gamesnet's file echo.. the list
was huge!  I don't know if you were around then.. perhaps not.

Editing the file would have involved say removing that copyright, or Michiel's
article itself... I would never do that.

Yes, as I explained here in the echo in a post regarding why that file was
going to be removed..
