Food stamps are for people food.  And with no more dog to feed, Ross C.
can no longer claim that you are using food stamps to buy dog food for
your dog.  So why not re-apply for food stamps?

Well, I was going by figures from the combined AFDC/Food Stamps program
when it was in its heyday, the total amount appropriated being $15
billion, the same amount that would buy five F-15 fighter aircraft.
With no more AFDC program, and the government's redefinition of hunger,
there are no hungry people in America.  As a result, maybe GWB should
end the Food Stamps program entirely.

There may be "food insecurity" in America, but there are no hungry
people in America.  Remember that.  After all, households do not go
hungry.  People do.

One of my friends had a dachshund.  Not just any dachshund, but a killer
dachshund.  A vicious and cold-blooded killer dachshund that especially
liked hunting down cats in the neighborhood.  One day, my friend walked
into his yard and found his dog dead, right next to a bowl of dog food.
He took his dead dog to the vet, and an autopsy was conducted.  The vet
determined that the dog was murdered, being there were traces of arsenic
in the dog. The murderer (whoever gave the dog a bowl of poisoned food)
has never been found.  It is presumed the murderer had acted in revenge,
having lost a cat.

The point is, dogs will be dogs.  Whereas my friend's dog was not
trained to be a vicious and cold-blooded killer, his dog led a dog's
life.  But some folks deliberately train dogs to be vicious and
cold-blooded killers.  And often those dogs are pit bulls.  If you
think the pit bull that attacked your dog was a vicious and cold-blooded
killer, think about the individual who trained that pit bull, as to what
kind of individual he is.

I have seen what a pit bull can do to a rabbit.  Took a rabbit's head
off with one bite.  And the rabbit was in a cage.  The wire mesh was as
if it were paper.
