I don't know.  I guess I just developed the attitude if something does not 
cause any harm that it is probaly okay to do; especially if nobody complained 
about it.  Now, had a former editor complained about it then I could see 
intervention being required.

The description field is a good idea.  Was this offered by Thom at the time as 
a compromise?  Cannot recall...

Well, what I mean is that something Thom would likely let slip with you or I 
doing, he would certainly be less likely to allow something like Bjorn to do.  
It has always been that way for...everything.  I'm not suggesting that was the 
case, but that when it comes to rules, people can tend to do such things.

I don't disagree whatsoever.  However, if Thom is free to impose whatever 
guidelines he wishes on the list, then those who move mail and claim that list 
is a final product should state so; or, they should state that the list is for 
informational purposes here.  That is my agreement to moderators.  I will not 
use the list as a final authority as to who moderates an echo...
