Wrong. Jesus was the rock. Rock is referred to as God in all the rest of
the bible. Only once was it mentioned before Peter and Jesus no doubt
pointed to himself when he said that he'd build his church on the rock
(pointing at himself)...Simon was re-named Peter in that verse and nothing
more.

Knowing that he was an unstable man and wouldn't make a very good person
to trust to establish a church.

It didn't take a soldier to establish a church, it was merely established
by a carpenter, Jesus...

Yeah, he changed them from a lucrative livestyle with a good income to
bums traveling the known world, preaching the gospel. None of them were
ever strong enough to establish a church.

To keep records. Eventually those records were passed down and a hundred
years or so later, they were added to the already existing scriptures.

Wrong. The Cathlic Church was and still is a pagen church that worships
idols and adulterers.

You know that nothing in that book has been named outright. Without your
God's light to guide you, you won't ever know it when you see it either.

Too bad...your eternal life depends on receiving the light and finding
your own truth. I've given you a clue and you've rejected the very premise
that your church could be in error. That's ok, you probably wouldn't make
a very good citizen of heaven anyway.
