I suggest you look back at all the articles submitted to fidonews when Bjorn
took hold of the editor position.  On average, account for depreciation of the
nodelist, there is really no more articles today than there were then despite
the contention that "he was better then" or "acted more professional".  That is
an arguement, IMO, not grounded in reality.  People have short memories and
forget all too easily.  That, coupled with the fact that there is no shortage
of energy (from the number of posts here) tells me that it doesnt matter who
the editor is, you would not see any more articles in the snooze if there were
a different editor.  Sure, my detrators would say that they will post more if
there was a new editor... And you can bet for the first few weeks, people
would, just to fulfill that obligation... but ultimately, people would get
bored of fulfilling those ogligations, fidonews would fall the wayside, and
people would find something else to bitch about.

Fair enough.  But when you consider some of the hateful words people say here
to one another you have to acknowledge that none of those who post here are
bashful.  So, I doubt anyone would be hesitant to post an article anyway. 
Really..Jeff..think about it.  Of all the people who complain about
things...how many articles do they submit?  For their complaint to hold any
water, they have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that their ability to
participate has been crippled.

We already covered that.  In the current state of affairs, the only way a
moderator can act is if those he is moderating happen to agree with him.  So,
the moment the moderator attempts to direct moderation at those people, he is
doomed.  I already delivered several scenarios...it is the same way it happened
in fn_sysop.  I will say, Bjorn was part of that fn_sysop issue and that it is
sort of ironic has happened to him here.  But, when you align yourself with
people who have no principles, you will find that they inevitably turn on you!

If they read this echo, which those who complain do, I doubt it any less likely
they will skip over posts made by the fidonews robot.  For those who don't read
the echo, and fidonews only, are probaly completely unaware of what transpires
here...so, unaware of anyone's actions.
