     And can just as easily be not interpreted as the same thing. A "Cut"
could be seen as a elimination of one's ability to post at all. While "to
curb" would suggest control of the person to have them cease their undesireable
posts without eliminating their ability to post.

     One can include the other but they can easily be completely different
actions.

     Personally, if someone asked me to try to "Curb" a persons inappropiate
behavior. I would take them to mean that they wanted me to talk to the
person to get them to change their behavior.

     I would consider a feed cut a much more serious matter. Such a request
would have to be specific and meet a few criteria. An example would be that
the person being cut was a direct downlink of mine and not two or more hops
downstream, Etc.

     I can't honestly say as I haven't seen Shannon's capabilities as an
editor. That is not to suggest that he doesn't have them. I have seen
Bjorn's and strictly as an editor I don't have a big problem with him.

     The problem that I do have with him is his inability to keep his
personal views and biases apart from his duties as editor. And his almost
total ineffectiveness as moderator. Both of which have contributed to
the call for a new editor and/or moderator.

     Something to consider. Although I would like us get away from the
zone concept of control. It shouldn't matter what zone the editor comes
from. What should matter is can they do the job and do it in a fair,
objective, and unbiased manner.
