What's really fantastic is that we live in a country were people are free to 
be themselves, no matter how freaky or weird we think they are.  They have 
jobs, live and go through their own lives without worrying about government 
oppression or being jailed because they are different.

THAT is what is so great about this country....

But, when someone states they don't like "Americans" -- what they are really 
saying is they don't like Muslims, Christians, Chinese, Japanese, 
Colombians, Swedish, English, French, Spanish, Africans, the Wicken, the 
Atheists, or any one of the incredible multitude of people of all religions 
and all walks of life that make up this country.

Dedicated on October 28, 1886, the Statue of Liberty has been a beacon of 
freedom for over a century and continues to welcome millions of immigrants 
to the United States. Standing at Liberty (Ellis) Island, she continues to 
shine her beacon of light to the world acknowledging that our heritage is 
young, free, and full of hope and promise.

I'm part Irish, part German, part Apache, and part mutt.....  I'm not a 
"purebred" anything... I'm an American and I'm both proud and humbled to be 
a citizen of what is and has become a great and free nation.
