Yeup...because they were assholes or were biased in their treatment of
echo users. I was unjustifiably booted from the HAM echo because I
disagreed with the moderator. I wasn't wrong in the disagreement, but he
couldn't see straight because he was so mad and I wasn't the only one who
was booted for that very same reason. Yes, today I'm the moderator, and
that came about because the moderators girl-friend gave me the echolist
password after he beat her up. Not only was he biased in his reasoning in
shoving 3 pages of rules down everyone's throat, he was pre-biased because
I embarrassed him in front of his buddies during the ZEC election, c1997.

Those same buddies also booted me from their echoes.

That reason is well known and I'm not the only one in that endeavor. In
fact, there are others who have been even more obtuse about it than I.

I know that. I've put HAM on read-only status in several places.

Absolutely. Should the 'read-only' person wish to post in the echo again,
what a nice incentive they will have to post accordingly.

Actually, I was very shy as a child...it was the aggressive adults and
bullys at school who made me the way I am now. :o)

My dad was one who angered quickly and I pushed his buttons many times,
just to watch him turn red with rage...got my ass kicked a few times, but
it was worth the chuckle later when he wasn't looking.

:o) - he recently claimed that one must have an IQ of at least 60 to
type on a keyboard, but my cat disagrees with him. My cat is smart and
can type on the keyboard, but he doesn't have that high of an IQ. You can
tell because everything he types doesn't make sense. :o)

I wasn't in the FLAME echo then but I'm sure he wasn't a participant who
would have earned a highly esteemed award. If he got an award, he didn't
get the AOY award, which is Asshole of the Year and you had to be a
regular FLAMER to qualify ... he may have gotten;

WOY - Whiner Of the Year

WOC - Whiner Of the Century

or perhaps;

MOY - Moron Of the Year

depending on nominations and the vote by regular Flamers...
