That encouregement does not give him the right to violate my copyright.

The right to determine how it is disrtributed and who is allowed to make
copies.

And so he may further distribute what he received from the FidoNews editor via
that channel. He may not copy it to another medium and redistribute that.

If I were you I'd get out of this hornet's nest as fast as you can. You are
