Ärende: Shannon Talley's copyright violations
=============================================
ST> I've got Dan's Netmail where he sent it to you embedded within the
message.

Which one of the three (or even more?) attempts would that be? I have this
one:

------

 * Carbons sent to: Shannon Talley at 1:275/311.0
                    Roy Witt at 1:10/22.0

On 24 Feb 05 16:23:26, Shannon Talley got back to Dan Ceppa
-> Re: A:\FN-ED.GUE

 ST> I didn't get the attachment... ;(

I'll resend it as I did the first time around...

------

Can this be the one you are referring to? If so, be advised that I do do not
have a floppy drive (aka A:) on my incoming server. And I bet that Ross doesn't
either (I think he doesn't even run an OS that uses letters like 'A' for
drives).

ST> And, here are Jerry's Emails (cc'd me) where he sent you two separate
ST> articles attached on different days.

So tell me then, what address did he use? I sure as hell don't even know who
this Jerry of yours is, I've never seen anything from him.

 ST> "I" received them,

Hmmm... Define "received them". From what you wrote in the above quote you
obviously didn't receive what Dan tried to send you from his off-line reader.

 ST> Thom received them

Pray tell, what the fuck does Thom has to do with this?

ST> on different occasions, and if you didn't, then there is something
ST> seriously wrong with your email.

Pro primo, can you please make up your mind? Are we talking about email
here, or netmail?

Pro secundo, during my editorial period there's been something like 500
articles submitted to the Snooze. Do you still insist that there's something
wrong with my set-up?

ST> But, I suspect that's not the case. As for the one
ST> that "I" sent you netmail, I gave you a copy of my netmail log where you
ST> can (and I can) plainly see the attachment made it (remember -- I sent it
 ST> direct).

I guess I can start a FTN 101 article series in the Snooze, trying to
educate you about how FTN really works. But I have a feeling that it would be a
complete waste of my time, so I think I'll give y'all a rain check on that one.

ST> Here are Jerry's Email's (without the attachments).

And what did you think that would prove? Do you see my name or address
anywhere in that quote?

Jeezz... Whatever you are smoking, please don't pass it on to my kids... :(
