I do too, until they get to the 'pledge' part of their programming. I
can get three PBS stations from here. The one in SD and two in the LA
area. They all do their pledges at the same time. Disgusting. It seems
that the SD station has been reading here; they changed their switching
time to 59 minutes after the hour yesterday. Pretty soon they'll get it
right.

Nancy and I once watched a Las Vegas show without paying. We were in
line to see Cher, when they cut us off because the house was sold out.
We retired to an open bar in the lobby and watched the world go by for
an hour or so. (Nancy and I are people watchers) Before long, Cher and
Natalie Cole came along and sat at the table next to us. Cher was going
with one of the Almond (sp) bros and he came along, and then came Foster
Brooks. We had a front row seat and had a ball; all for free.

We missed Elvis' show and the next thing you know, he croaks...Nancy was
disapointed, but it made no difference to me.
