     It always seems like the fishing is so much better where others are
fishing than where you are fishing. The general response to "Hey, how's
the fishing over there?" is "Great, we already got our limit and are now
having to throw them back". I get a kick out of watching boats on a lake.
It's like they have radar. Radar in the sense that if people in one boat
start to catch fish. Ten other boats will suddenly show up in the same
area. Wouldn't be the first time I saw people from differant boats cast
over each others lines.

    There's one lake in northern Minnesota that I go to thats big enough
to have good sized white caps when the wind picks up. There will always
be one poor soul in a "Tidy Bowl Boat" 10-12 row boat trying to make his
way across the lake. Hell, at full throtle using a 5-10 HP he can barely
manage to stay in one spot. <g>
