You should have waited til you had some more, but I see someone else has

You know something, that invitation was his to decline.

The fact that he was willing to spend money to travel overseas to meet up with
someone he thought to be a 14yo female says more about him than what ultimately
happened to him.

Over here we have had too much abuse committed by our own sicko's, waiting for
the abuse to occur isnt anymore logical than what you seem bewildered about.

Our law enforcement uses all the tools that the legislative bodies of govt
authorize them to have via laws and legislation, over here it is illegal to try
to arrange such meetings with minors for the reasons this guy employed. What
you consider entrapment would be true if the undercover cop posing to have this
14yo daugter had approached the Swede.

Our cops do alot of stuff to enforce the laws, often trying to thwart the
serious crimes before they /CAN/ occur. Drug laws, anti-prostitution statues
are often enforced by trying to catch people soliciting for them, again no
entrapment is occuring if the suspect is initiating the process.

But I will make this easy for you, if you dont like our laws or our country,
dont come here.

I think I could cite Swedish laws I wouldnt agree with, why should you be any
different by citing our laws you dont agree with?

The Swede was immune from US Law had he stayed in Sweden or had he come to the
USA, not followed the planned upon itinary<sp>?

Menno Blom conversely would have been ok had he not followed through.

If you want to bitch about the laws of other countries, how about those of the
United Arab Emirates, when several tourists from Europe were:

Jailed and/or Fined for:

Disembarking from the airplane and discovered to have had a cigarrette butt
embedded in the treads of their shoes..

or

A Dutch tourist, having consumed a sandwich which bread was liberally sprinkled
with poppy seeds, one such seed landed on his shirt and he was arrested in
Dubai for breaking their drug laws.

Cue the crickets..

Not at all, but a undercover cop might play along long enough to determine
intent is certain, then either arrest the person for conspiracy.
