That's a very small town. Although most people are backwards (inbred rednecks)
in towns that size here, and almost all of them hunt (i.e. own guns), murders
are almost unheard of over a span of several years. The murders will almost
always be in the huge cities, and usually be the result of gang violence
(organized crime). The largest majority of criminals are poor and non-white.

I don't think anyone will convince us that guns are bad. Those of us that had
good fathers, were taught respect for guns and how to handle, shoot and clean
them properly. Gun safety has been passed down to our sons (and some
daughters). It's part of life here.

I will say this for the last time. Criminals kill people. Criminals will secure
guns whether legal or not. 

Everytime I have to explain this, all I can see is jealousy on the part of
those that have been stripped of their guns.

Pity, I fire mine at targets, only to stay in practice for the day I have to
protect my family from criminals (elected or otherwise).

Others enjoy the skill of hunting for food. I know your co-hearts will say
hunting is bad, but it's okay to kill a live fish by throwing it on ice. Is it
because fish aren't warm and soft that makes it okay? 

It's absurd to even be discussing this.

In a town of 17,000, not many are from around there.
