     That is exactly what I have been doing. My critical comments are not
based on where they come from or what nationality they may happen to be.
My comments are based on the person and their posted words. In this
particular case it was the other person who makes the nationality of major
concern.  This is not the first time there has been a discussion here about
people disliking people based on what country they come from. Here that is
called being prejudice. And yes that behavior can be seen to varying degrees
from several "sides". If we can agree that such behavior is wrong or at
least undisireable. Why then do we support those that act in that fashion?

   Personally I think we would be better of without zones to divide us. But
that is another subject of discussion.

     I have stated that specifically and clearly. If some choose not to see
or it wouldn't be politically correct for them to see. Then that is their
choice.

     I don't look at being a patriot as being synonymous with being a
fanatic. The choice of the two terms depends on who is doing the looking.
IOW, a patriot to one is a fanatic to someone else. To me it depends
on the degree of patriotism.  To what end is someone willing to go in
the expression of their patriotism?


     Yup, we are getting down to the bitter dregs of Fidonet. <g>

    Then why is that the usual reason that is given? What any country
really is is so much more than the rather misleading view that we see
