Dan Ceppa was given a temporary ban from this echo...

He was not the sole reason, if at all for why there was a read only for certain
BBS's..

Bob Klahn, Lee Lofaso and Wayne Chirnside found there way in here and started
the same political discussions that they were already imbibing in elsewhere
such as but not limited to POL_INC. without naming names, others from those
echoes followed them in here to continue the same battles also taking place in
other echoes.

Most of the combatants including the above named individuals, except for Ceppa,
were coming in from Docsplace and Fidotel. The read only bans were not lifted
for either BBS, so I will need to talk with Ed Koon on this.

Sadly were are seeing deja-vu again, although I let myself get sucked into it
in recent days.

Lee Lofaso is using a Z3 BBS and he seems to be the catalyst for this deja-vu,
no surprise there.

Do not blame the accessability of this echo on Ceppa. Dan Ceppa is a fully
listed Fidonet Sysop, as is Bob Ackley.

Whereas, the others I mentioned and yourself, rely on the good graces of listed
Fidonet Sysops to access Fidonet at all. At the time it didnt make sense for
all involved last year to simply use and make this echo a "repeater" for
battles that have taken place and were taking place in other echoes.

When I removed this trouble last year, this echo returned to what was or is
normal for it.

While being a listed sysop is not a prerequisite for this echo, this echo is
not merely another repeater for the same battles that can are allowed to
flourish elsewhere.

Contrary to Lee Lofaso's peacocking, I am the elisted moderator for this echo,
whereas Mr Felten is the Fidonews Editor, whom for the past couple editors, has
traditionally been known as the moderator, however he and I have worked
together on this subject. Lee Lofaso will defend elisted moderators for other
echoes, I have seen him do it.

In the meantime, from this point forward, do not use this echo to replay the
grudges against Ceppa, Lofaso, Ackley or whomever which belong elsewhere.

On this, I am confident that Bjorn Felten agrees with me fully.
