It is irrelevant what political party the members of your state
legislature happen to be.  They are elected public officials.
Which means what they have done, and what they do, have the support
of the people of South Carolina.  Including you.

Irrelevant.  The fact of the matter is that South Carolina
has very weak gun regulations.  So do other states, such as
Texas, Oklahoma, Kentucky, and Louisiana.  But at least I
take it upon myself to let my elected officials know where
I stand, and what legislation I want them to pass (or reject).

In regards to having weak gun regulations that would be true.
In fact, gun regulations in Louisiana may be weaker than those
in South Carolina.  But not by much, given that gun regulations
in both states are virtually non-existent.

Once upon a time I was a Democrat.
Once upon a time I was a Repubican.
Once upon a time I was an Independent.
I know longer know what the hell I am or happen to be.

Irrelevant.  The question is, should individuals have an absolute
right to bear arms?  And if so, what arms should individuals be allowed
to own?  Along with which individuals should be allowed to own arms.

Preventing gun crimes should be at the top of everyone's agenda,
regardless of political ideology or party affiliation.  That is the
only way we can make our families and communities safer.  Otherwise,
such crimes will continue unabated with no end in sight.  And that
would not be a good thing.  For anybody.

Louisiana has the best politicians that money can buy.
Our politicians are also a bunch of clowns.  But even so,
I have done my best to help them see the light.  However,
nobody, including me, can make them listen to common sense.
