You should note that when you buy something on Ebay, it is usually backed
up by Ebay's guarantee policy, should something be wrong with the product
or the transaction didn't go as expected.

That's why they have new and used car dealerships in most locations.

Then they're probably not aware of such modern conveniences as
professionally licensed people who inspect and drive cars for you.

Actually, I'd trust someone else's opinion as my own, if he were licensed
to do inpections like that. This is how the used car lots buy used
vehicles at auction. They don't ever get screwed...
