The dead one (Chester Nimitz) is six feet under, at Golden Gate
National Cemetery, in San Bruno, California.

Depends on where you are standing.

JFK was buried on November 25, 1963, the original gravesite being
located just a few scant yards away from the gravesite of Robert Todd
Lincoln (Section Spec Site 13).  The body of JFK is no longer at the
original gravesite, his body (along with his two dead children) having
been moved to the present gravesite on March 14, 1967.  Jackie joined
him later.  His other kid was buried at sea.

The numbers in circles represent the location of certain people
who are buried there.  JFK is #1.  RFK is #2.  That is the present
location, not the location of JFK's original gravesite.

A bit about Robert Todd Lincoln -

Robert Todd Lincoln had his mother, Mary Todd Lincoln, committed
to an insane asylum, as her mental state was getting totally out
of control.

Edwin Booth, brother of James Wilkes Booth, saved Robert Todd
Lincoln's life at a train station.  This was before his infamous
brother allegedly assassinated Abraham Lincoln.

Robert Todd Lincoln was a presidential jinx.  Although he was not
at Ford's Theatre when Abraham Lincoln was shot, he was at the mortally
wounded president's side when s/he died, leaving him traumatized by the
event, blaming himself for what happened.  By his own thinking, had he
been at Ford's Theatre, the man who had impersonated James Wilkes Booth
never would have gotten close enough to do the dirty deed, or even
gotten past the door.

Sixteen years later, Robert Todd Lincoln found himself secretary
of war when President James Garfield called him in to discuss the
Lincoln assassination.  Two days after that meeting, Garfield was
shot, just as Lincoln was entering the railroad station to meet
him.

Twenty years after that traumatic event, on September 6, 1901,
Robert Todd Lincoln went to attend the Pan-American exposition in
Buffalo.  As Lincoln entered the Exposition Hall, shots rang out,
and President William McKinley dropped to the floor, mortally
wounded.

Robert Todd Lincoln became a recluse after that last event.  Three
dead presidents can do that to a guy.  "There is a certain fatality
about presidential functions when I am present," said Lincoln.

However, he did find time to attend the dedication of the Lincoln
Memorial, and no president or former president was assassinated that
day.  I guess three dead presidents was quite enough to get over.

Even in death, Robert Todd Lincoln could not escape his fate, as
presidential tragedy continued to haunt him.  The body of Robert Todd
Lincoln lies in Arlington National Cemetery, a scant few yards from
the original gravesite of another assassinated president - John F.
Kennedy.

Which is why the body of JFK was moved to the present gravesite.
The caretakers wanted to make sure nobody stole the body.
