Ergo the association does _not_ only exist in _my_ mind. Don't concentrate on
me merely because I say what others think.

Of course not, and I didn't write that. Read the above again, and remember I
reply to your comment. But to make things absolutely clear, I wrote that Mr.
Popp said something similar to what _you_ did above.

I can remember a one-issue party that not only got off the ground, but later
became a multi-issue party (but with a single focus) and even became a
coalition partner in a German government. Naturally I'm talking about the
Greens. So the focus of the Pirates wouldn't bother me much, particularly since
the whole question of Internet democracy is slowly but surely coming to a head.
The name still bothers me, but as I say, maybe the notariety will bring in more
votes than it repels conservative voters.
