Wrong again. Each gun purchase is documented on Federal and State forms.

LOL! Mexico has one of the most open coastlines in the world. Very few
patrol boats, unlike the USA...Chinese made AK-47s are too easy to get
from China, especially if they know how they'll be used.

That's news to me. Most Republicans and even some Democrats agree with the
NRA that criminals who use firearms should be harshly punished for doing
so. In fact they were the authors of the law that says, 'use a gun, go to
jail' - which added an extra 10 years to their sentence.

Once more you have no clue of what you're talking about. Which seems to be
the norm rather than a rarity.

That's right. But the weapons used along the Texas, New Mexico, Arizona
and California borders by the cartels, are.

LOL! Sure, if you have a machine shop, an engineering staff who can design
and manufacture complete trigger mechanisms. And you can keep it all a
secret. Note that there haven't been any raids on weapons modification
facilities in Mexico or the USA.

Because assault weapons are not used to commit crimes here. When there was
the Clinton ten year ban on them, they were still in the hands of the
public, but still none were used to commit a crime. A hand gun or a sawed
off shotgun is the weapon of choice.

Semi-auto firearms are not the cartels weapon of choice.

weapons when their government attempted to legislate them out of the

Mexican cop can be bought for $100, $1000 if he's armed with an M-16.
