I'm not going through the *Waco* crap again. But its a poor example on your
part.


Actually....the Waco thingy is a far better example of government law
enforcement going from being in the right.....to being very, very wrong!


Koresh and several of his followers probably would have been found guilty of
several firearms violations, Koresh himself probably some sex crimes.


It became a badly-bungled, ridiculous operation that ended up costing a lot of
lives, needlessly.

No, I never heard of it.

Fine. They may do so for the initial several weeks. But once people see whats
happening, things will heat up. And the military won't come out ahead in the
long run. If Vietnam, Afghanistan, and Iraq has taught anyone anything, its
that you cannot stamp out a civilian cadre of resistance, period. It will go
on and on for many years, and in the end will win.


Those who think the government in Iraq will continue to be stable after we are
completely out, and everything will be sweetness and light there, are deluding
themselves.


The same with Afghanistan.
