RW>>>> There's a lot of things that I think he's done wrong, but they don't
RW>>>> outweigh the good that he's done.

BF>>> That's one way of seeing it.

RW>> Yes, with an open mind. Otherwise, you end up looking stupid, like many
 RW>> here have already.

RW>>>> That's how it works here, so it MUST be a democracy. In reality, it's
a
 RW>>>> democratic republic.

BF>>> As in Domenican Republic, the Czech Republic, Republic Indonesia and
 BF>>> Republic of China?
 BF>>> Nice bunch.

RW>> Indonesia used to be a nice place, but it isn't anymore (according to a
RW>> friend of mine who grew up there)

BF> Oh, so now you come up with hearsay.

If someone is raised in a country like Indonesia when all that existed was
natives and WW2 relics, then it becomes industrialized, it can't be the same
country. I believe him.

RW>> Dunno about the Czech Republic.

BF> I've been there but didn't got involved in politics. Never the less a
 BF> nice place.

RW>> The Republic of China is the mainland and it's not very nice.

BF> Oh, no hearsay so you have been in China.

Have you ever read a newspaper or watched a news program? China is in the news
all of the time. Not a nice place to live, unless you like to be controlled in
everything you think, say or do.

BF> My piont is that you talk abot things you haven't a clue about and your
open
BF> mind isn't as open as you claimed above.

That's the way it is, people with open minds see things that other people don't
see. How many times have you been to China, again?

RW>>>> The losing members don't get to vote, while the majority does which
all
RW>>>> depends on the popular votes by the people.

 BF>>> A strange system.

 RW>> Best in the world.

 BF> Of course, it's American.

Of course.

BF>>> That goes for the PM as well. If I don't want him to be the PM I can
BF>>> strike him out and place my candidate on top.

RW>> I see the difference. We get to choose between several for POTUS or any
 RW>> other elected office.

BF> Wasn't it you who didn't get to vote the POTUS?

Oh no, I voted my choice several times in every POTUS election. First there is
the 'state primary' election, where you vote for one of many candidates. This
is
only a primary election where several candidates run for the chance to be on
the
POTUS election ballot. In 2000, I voted for someone other than GWB in the
primary election.

BF> That was done by others.

Yes, about 31 million others.

BF>>> That's not really how it works here either and I have a personal
BF>>> experience (not me though) of it.

RW>> I milked the system once, back in 1970. I drew unemployment for a year
RW>> with two extensions and played on the beach or traveled up and down the
RW>> coast of California, site-seeing for the entire time.

BF> So back then it was legal to do so but those who does it now are left wing
 BF> whacos.....please explain.

I excercised my right to do as the left wing whackos do. What's good for the
goose has to be good for the gander too. Then again, what I did wasn't a
permanent thing, just an experiment that was over a year later.

BF>>> If you don't work you're not getting anything either and if you lose
your
BF>>> job you only have unemployment compensation for a year.

RW>> We have unemployment also, but many people work that into welfare or
 RW>> disability payments too.

BF> So they can play on the beach and travel up and down the coast of
California?

Or make lots of babys so they can get more welfare.

BF>>> Leaving no papertrail.....so it can't be checked later.... *I* think
so.

RW>> That happens only in some places, like Iowa or Nebraska.

BF> Never the less it did happend in the best democratic country in the world.

That's right.

 RW>> In California,
RW>> they tried to use electronic devices to count the votes, but they were
RW>> declared illegal by, believe it or not, the state's elected legislature.
RW>> It's also a policy here in Texas to use paper ballots.

 BF> I rest my case.

You have no case.

BF>>> Welcom to the club. That's what we have said from the beginning.

RW>> Nahhh, you've been telling us that GWB lied to the world about WMAs,
when
RW>> in reality he was misled to believe they existed, by the world's
RW>> intellgence angencys. Some in urope, some in the middle East, etc..

BF> Why didn't he listen to his own, CIA?

He did. They got their info from those other intelligence agencys.

BF> Because it didn't suit his agenda so he had to lie.

The info he received backed up what he believed. When someone speaks about
things as presented to them to be facts, is not lying when one speaks of them.

Besides that, maybe you should read UN Resolution 1441 and the history of what
happened before you speak with both feet in your mouth.

RW>> He's even stated publically that he was mis-informed,

BF> What else could he have done?

I could have done nothing.

RW>> but taking out Saddam Hussein was the right thing to do...

BF> Why, what had he to do with it?

See the history behind UN Resolution 1441.

RW>> One can only act upon the knowledge one has.

BF> Just as you above where you said that China isn't a nice place?

Just as you don't believe it is a nice place.

RW>> I'm sure that he wished he didn't decide to stay in Iraq for as
 RW>> long as we have,

BF> Never the less he did.

Yeup. And no date has been set to leave.

RW>> but he committed himself to follow through. As you can
RW>> see by world events, we aren't the ones who are suffering terrorists
acts
RW>> - because GWB walked softly and carried that big stick he inherited from
a
 RW>> former POTUS.

 BF> Like father like son.

He's not the son of the POTUS I had in mind.

BF>>>>> If you say that the loudest in USA are the wackos it must be like
that
BF>>>>> here in Fido as well, don't you think?

 RW>>>> Are you feeling guilty?

 BF>>> Ehhh.....I'm not an American.

RW>> None the less, you've been saying things that should make you feel
guilty.

 BF> And you haven't?

Nope. My conscience is clear.
