That would be what archaeologists call the K-T boundary or physicists
know it as the Chicxulub impact. It's center was located approximately 
underneath the town of Chicxulub, Yucatan, Mexico. The meteorite's 
estimated size was about 10 km in diameter and happened some 65 million 
years ago. Amusingly this can be shown as the only truly global event 
ever to be centered on the Americas. Whilst it was catastrophic for
the Dinosaurs (and most life at the time) it is not thought to have
any bearing on to days weather patterns.

It's an area that some scientists tried to explore a short time back
however it was dismissed by the ruling elites of academia without
any serious study. Only a none peer reviewed paper was released
to the press that stated "Global warming not caused by Sun".

Whoever pened that little gem must have shit for brains.

I speculate that the study was stomped on, as if it where
shown that solar activity was the main driver of climatic 
change then the lucrative source of tax payer funded blame
driven academic self indulgance would come to an end.

Let me say this. While i take mild offense at Bjorns implied
lack of intelligence on my part for questioning the fashionable
wisdom of the mob, I view him as a victim of his intellectual
laziness, although he could become what Lenin described as a
useful fool. To describe Bjorn as a Communist or a Nazi is to
see him as pro-active rather than re-active. He only dances
to the tune but doesn't make the music.
