And you are right. But EVERYONE should consider what that means.

One complaint I got as editor was that the Fidonews was under the
control of Z1. Now it isn't. The complaints have reversed to some
degree. There were a few in Zones 2 thru 6 that thought the editors
from Z1 were ok. Some simply accepted the Z1 editors. Others flat
disliked them.

Now, the Fidonews is in Z2 and I read the same complaints. Prejudice.
Refusing articles. Bashing of others and their beliefs, zones,
countries and such.

What to do? The sandbox should be open to everyone, right? Yet when
someone complains there is a call from the offended to close the
sandbox. When there is an article that offends and it is not related
to Fidonet, there is a call from the offended to close the sandbox
again. Yet when someone considers closing the sandbox, there is a cry
to leave it open because it is everyone's sandbox. And in the next
breath, the demand that the sandbox be closed. The people want the
sandbox to be moderated but not moderated and by or not by whom they
choose and to choose but not allow choices by some while controlling
and not controlling the sandbox. It is "only" for Fidonet related
articles but not "only" for Fidonet related articles. Any article
should be accepted, but certain articles should not be accepted. Some
articles should be refused, but no article should be refused. Z1 hates
Z2 and Z2 hates Z1 but neither side is wrong and the other side
should acknowledge that and remove the offending party or get that
party to step down without forcing, acknowledging or removing anyone.

GOOD GRIEF, PEOPLE!! A spinning top would get dizzy!
