Nobody here obeys the speedlimit on the interstates. Maybe Joe does.
Brutal drive? The interstates are made for long distance driving, i.e.
non-stop. They aren't the roads that you would remember.

According to Google Maps; the distance from Trenton, Ont is a 27h drive to
Miami Beach, FL. To Billings, MT it's a 31h drive with an interesting
ferry-boat ride across Lake Michigan. There is an interstate that goes
across WS, MN and ND to Montana.

I've driven from here to Madison, Wis in 18h, although Google Maps says it
should take 21h...which means that I was flying low.

Really? I suppose way back in the times of the Neanderthals, the roads
weren't that good, not even paved I'll bet. And watch out for those
Apatosaurus, they're death on stone-bodied cars.

That's a 29h drive. Of course, you can always make it a two day trip by
stopping off in Trenton and visit with Joe for a spell.
