If there's no host online or the user has 'ping' shut off in his firewall,
there cannot be any other return but 'unknown host'...i.e. dyndns.org
isn't the host, the IP you're trying to ping is.

Who's Herman? Of course, if you're too cheap to offer a few $ to a free
service provider, then you don't really deserve to be their customer. I'd
drop the free-loaders too.

Has he logged into it lately. Cleaning house isn't unheard of, especially
when the service offered is free and no one has bothered to use it.

Although a small, one time, donation keeps your account alive
indefinately.

LOL! I'm a money paying customer of DYNDNS and have been for the last ten
years. I know how it works.

You can't know all of the ins and outs without having an account and
actually using it...it's like being on the outside of the candy store and
attempting to get a taste of the candy without actually buying any.
