I'll bet there is. When a judge denys bail to someone, their name goes on
a list of people who were denied bail. (just so that someone doesn't make
a mistake and release that prisoner)

Yeup...but today he was granted bail.

For protection purposes while delaying the process. Had he still been on
the loose, he would now be in a Svedish jail. No doubt, a Lawyer or
lawyers have been advising him all along, or at least since the warrant
has been made public.

Not in the least. He's been released, but must now wear an ankle bracelet
that keeps the authorities aware of his location. On top of that he's
confined to a certain address in Suffix. If he decides to leave the house,
he can be followed by anyone. Not to mention, kidnapped.

You'll  have to wait and read a copy of the extradition papers.

If his source was a US foreign diplomat, he's (Assange) guilty of
espionage. The diplomat will be tried for treason if they find out who
that person is.

It doesn't matter, it's now on the record. Just something else a
prosecutor will have to investigate. Perhaps the investigation will turn
up the culprit who gave Assange the info.
