No need! The Shah was the second and last monarch of the House of Pahlavi
of the Iranian monarchy. He came to power with the overthrow of Ahmad Shah
Qajar, the last ruler of the Qajar dynasty, who had abdicated his throne
to live in France, having been weakened by the Soviet and British
occupation of Iran.

The National Assembly of Iran, known as the Majlis, convening as a
constituent assembly on December 12, 1925, deposed the young Ahmad Shah
Qajar, and declared Reza Shah the new monarch of the Imperial State of
Persia. The National Assembly of Iran changed Persia's name to Iran about
ten years later.

* The Baath Party seized power of the Iraqi government in 1968 with the
  organizational help of Saddam Hussein.

* From 1968-1977, Hussein rises through the ranks of the Baath Party. He
  begins as a central figure but gathers more power during this time.

* In 1977, he assumes control of the government with the present Baath
  Party leader Bakr's health ailing.

* On July 16, 1979 Bakr formally steps down and Hussein begins to take
  formal control.

* The next few weeks are a period of purging and consolidation on
  Hussein's part.

I don't read anything that says the USA was instrumental to the support of
or 'installation to power' mentioned anywhere in the rise of SH to leader
of Iraq.
