There's quite a difference between bowing and scraping and
being a patriot and wanting what's best for ones countries
national security and prosperity.

I was right here *before* the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan on
record opposing them.

That took *courage* as it was by far the minority view.
Perhaps not so much in fidonet as it did on public streets
and on public transportation as there the threats were not merely
fidonet and internet stalking but real physical threats.

I was also on record as warning of the upcoming greatest threat to
U.S. national security as discerned by the CIA as regards to the United States
economy which they in a CIA report cited as the number one threat. 

Faux patriots such as yourself seem to think unquestioningly parroting the 
media line call to war is in itself patriotism.

But here again the media is largely owned by those wealthy merchants
of energy, aerospace and munitions who stand most to profit by war.

Saudi Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal is the second largest owner of 
the media outlet with the largest viewing audience, Fox News.

You on the other hand appear to greatly enjoy being deceived and
having your pocket picked while it's being done to you and while U.S.
servicemen and women are dying and being maimed in the name of faux 
patriotism the result of media manipulation.

There's more to patriotism then urging your sides troops on to
victory in battle.

There's the responsibility to see that there's just and reasoned cause
for battle in the first place and not to see our fighting men and women
expended needlessly for the greater glorification and wealth of a privileged
few.

There's the matter of the the wanton waste of national resources and treasure
in the service of those same self serving wealthy industrialists and 
politicians bought off by lobbyists.

The faux patriot is first to wave the flag but last to think of
the need for or the true costs of war.

You and your like endlessly remind me of those enthusiatic flag waving crowds
cheering at the NAZI Germany rallys.
All whipped up into a frenzy of faux patriotism that did not serve their 
country nor the worlds best interests.

A huge and horrible price was to paid.

I would seek to minimize and limit the price we will have to pay however
it's disheartening when confronted with the likes of you and the rest of
the faux patriots posting here.

Here again I leave you with two thoughts. 
 
The people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders.

The above quote copied and pasted into this post in Linux Slackware
console from Firefox 4.0 on the XFCE GUI desktop as is the origin
url you so seem to require shortening per previous post.
