Don't be such a pratt Michael, you are more intelligent than that. The pictures
were illegal in America and whether they were legal in Blom's country or not
mean sweet FA when they arrived in the American regime. Blom was not
intelligent enough to check out if it was legal to send such thing into
America.

There are many things that we do not want in New Zealand, mostly outside pests
and plants, people can send them in the post and if they are found they are
destroyed. People try to bring things in with them and are asked at the border
have you got ???? If they say 'No' and are searched and do have them then they
are either sent home or to prison here. Same with Blom it wasn't illegal to
have his intentions in Holland but those intentions he imported into the States
were illegal in the States, there he got what he was supposed to get. Our legal
system in NZ is based on the Westminister system from the UK and it has "with
intent to" laws written into it and the intent to have under age sex is one of
them. Blom would have been in the crap here as well. So don't get your
knicker's in a knot because one of your coutrymen broke the laws of a coutry he
was going to visit by intent just make sure you don't do the same when you go
somewhere like there, here, Aussie or the UK. China would probably have shot
him for it and charged his estate for the bullet.
