Ärende: BinkD data in the nodelist

Hmm.. you could probably write a batch file, something like:

wget http://www.filegate.net/ipfn/i-binkd/BINKD.TXT copy BINKD.TXT c:\binkd\

or you could use Curl to fetch it.. same basic idea <grin>

The filename is the same each week, so no problem there. As long as you had
'include c://binkd//BINKD.TXT' in your binkd.cfg (think that's the proper
syntax but I haven't run OS/2 in while) it should be ok.

That does look like Linux syntax..

Understand :)

Sean Dennis would probably have been the one to talk to.. but now with his
going back to school and taking a break from Fido, the timing is not good
there.

>P.S. Just noticed that the include file is made up from the Z1 nodelist, and I

It shouldn't make a difference.. the main difference between the Z2 and the
Zone 1 nodelists are the order the nodelist regions are in.. we start the
nodelist in Zone 1 with Region 10.. Zone 2 starts with Region 20..(obviously
also ZC1 is list first over here, ZC2 is listed first over there <g>).

I import the Z2 nodelist segment that Ward sends me exactly as is into the Zone
1 nodelist... I'm sure he does the same with the Z1 segment.

I took a look at Jerry's BINKD.TXT file, and I didn't see anything that looked
like it might cause trouble. If it does, I'm sure he'd like to know.

Take care,
Janis
