I saw it but did not bother to wade through it. It is a log snippet and loges
can be forged, so in my perception it is not corroborating evidence, just more
of the same "non proof".

Yes. When Ward posted his logs snippets to show when he send the segment, her
comment was: "logs can easely be faked".

I think it can not be proven beyond doubt. It will remain a matter of "her word
against his" forever.

The medicine for such conflicts is trust. But as the saying goes: trust comes
on foot and goes on a hrose. The horse that started gallopping outwards last
year when the NAB siezed Fidonews is still on the run. The Troika show no signs
of remorse so the horse will keep running outbound for a while.

CRC values can be restored. Plenty of tools to do that. Long time ago I made
one myself, but I can't find it right now.
