Tell me, how does the diatribe you spewed below differ from what I said
above? Naturally, if they went to Stalingrad or Moscow, the supply line
would have been longer and more treacherous, meanwhile, they could have
takent he oil fields and wouldn't have that logistics problem.

Of course, no one anticipated that Hitler would pull troops and equipment
from the eastern front to reinforce the old men and boys we faced in
Belgum, since there was no need to waste fuel and equipment on a dead
issue.

Considering that they used more synthetic oil than they got out of the
ground since 1942, they did a tremendous job of it. The annilation of
their synthetic refineries in eastern Germany was their demise.

Speer knew the war was over in 42, which is why he refused to build more
synthetic refineries, which wouldn't have come on line until 1946.
